Tow bar Octavia IV

The tow bar is manufactured from high-quality materials, it has undergone load tests as well as rigorous testing for strength and resistance to corrosion. The tow bar complies with homologation E1 55R-01 2858 and all Czech and international regulations. With this tow bar, a simple automatic mechanism allows the ball hitch to be swivelled out into the working position and then, when it is no longer needed, swivelled back in beneath the bumper. Retrofitting a tow bar to your vehicle increases the demand on its cooling system. As a result, depending on the equipment fitted to the vehicle, the cooling system components will need to be replaced in accordance with the information either held by workshop technicians in authorised Škoda Auto service centres / B2B.

Caution for hybrid engines - Octavia iV (PHEV):
Due to the specific engineering features of cars equipped with high-voltage batteries, we recommend you only use genuine Škoda tow bars, because Škoda Auto a.s. can guarantee their safety, reliability and compatibility with these cars.
Wrongly installed or incorrect tow bars can, in the event of an accident, damage the high-voltage components of the car, worsening the consequences of the accident or even causing fatal injury.
We recommend having all the installation work done by Škoda authorized service partners.

For Octavia Combi (NX5) models without a tow bar preparation (does not apply to Octavia RS iV (NX5)) need to be ordered:

• difusor (1pcs) 5E6 807 521A.
  Attention: when replacing the difusor on cars with a virtual pedal (PR - 4E6), it is necessary to order separately:
  • antenna for a virtual pedal 5E3 962 239
  • control unit holder 3G0 962 283A
