The key to transporting children safely is to have a good quality, properly fitted child seat. The child seat base FLEX BASE i-SENSE allows for simple installation, removal and portability of the child seat. It has a supporting leg that rests on the floor of the car for increased stability. The base itself is easily snapped into the ISOFIX anchors in the seat.
The child seat BABY SAFE 3 i-SIZE that fits into the base can only be fitted facing the rear, either to the outer rear seats or to the passenger seat equipped with the ISOFIX system (the passenger airbag must be deactivated).
Important notice:
Placing a child seat, including the base, in the car may limit the adjustment or usability of the surrounding seats (unsuitable angle of the seat belt locks of the adjacent seats, seat belt routing, restricted view from the car, etc.). With this in mind, always use a position for the child seat that prevents these collisions.
It is recommended to use the Packing under child seat 000 019 819A from the Škoda Genuine Accessories portfolio when using a child seat base, as it reduces negative effects (imprint, deformation) and can help reduce possible contact points between the seat and the upholstery or the seat belt lock/buckle.
The child seat base FLEX BASE i-SENSE allows for smooth reclining and swivel adjustment to make the child more comfortable in the seat. Do not use this function while driving. Make sure that the child seat base does not collide with the seat belt lock and check its functionality thoroughly after using and removing the child seat.
