Child seat BABY-SAFE 2 i-SIZE

The Safety of the smallest passengers - under 13 kg in weight, or from birth to around 18 months (group 0+) – is ensured by the child seat BABY-SAFE2 i-SIZE. Like all the other child seats from the ŠKODA Genuine Accessories range, this one is specifically designed for our cars. As your kid grows up, you will find that our range has child seats for all the other age and weight categories.

The car seat can only be placed facing rearwards, either on the outer rear seats or on passenger seats equipped with the ISOFIX system (mounting hooks between the seat and backrest). The seat is fastened and secured to an ISOFIX base. The child is secured with the child seat’s five-point safety harness, which is height-adjustable to accommodate the child’s growth. The car seat can be fixed in three positions – sitting, resting and lying. The child seat can be dismounted at any time and carried away from the car with the child. If the child seat is placed on the passenger seat, you always need to move the passenger seat as far back and up as possible. The passenger airbag must be deactivated!

Each type of child safety seat from the Škoda Genuine Accessories undergoes a series of rigorous tests, including EuroNCAP crash tests, and tests for flame resistance, content of harmful substances, wear resistance, and the quality of the coating. Successful completion of these tests is necessary in order to meet European safety certification ECE R 44/04 requirements for children’s safety devices. Read less
