The snow chains from Škoda Genuine Accessories range are a practical addition that enhances safety and driving confidence in demanding winter conditions. Their diagonal-pattern design improves vehicle stability and provides better traction during acceleration, braking, and driving on snow covered or icy surfaces.
The square-shaped chain links, made of high-quality manganese-alloy steel, ensure high durability and effective grip.
The chains are installed in pairs on one axle, and their design allows easy fitting without the need to move the vehicle. After installation, it is recommended to drive approximately 50 to 100 metres, check that the chains are properly centred, and retighten them if necessary. When driving with snow chains fitted, it is recommended not to exceed a speed of 50 km/h.
The snow chains have successfully passed demanding homologation tests focused on both mechanical durability and installation compatibility. Before each use, it is necessary to check that the links are undamaged. Damaged or broken chains must not be used.
