The bottom protective guard of the assembly from the ŠKODA Genuine Accessories portfolio is a practical accessory designed to protect your engine against undesired impacts (water, dust, mud, gravel, road salt in wintertime) while preventing corrosion of metal parts and damage to electronic devices, wires, etc., reducing the engine noise, increasing its protection, extending the lifespan of its components (e.g. alternator, starter, belts, etc.) and improving the vehicle´s aerodynamic parameters and thus reducing fuel consumption. The bottom protective guard of the assembly is made of top-quality plastic that is strong, elastic and resistant both to mechanical (road salt, gravel) and chemical (oil, fuel, etc.) damage. Further, the undertray material is resistant to temperature changes, i.e. does not change its size as a consequence of changing weather and temperature conditions.
