And even if your RAPID is not equipped with cruise control from factory, you need not feel sorry. With ŠKODA Genuine Accessories, you retrofit your car with this comfort feature. The cruise control is designed to keep a constant speed, set at 30km/h or more. Setting the speed is done by rocker switch on the left steering column stalk.

If vehicles without the “Start-Stop” equipment are not equipped with the “BCM“ High + (087x) control unit, this control unit has to be ordered from the genuine (ETKA) spare parts catalogue. Then dismantle the present control unit of the vehicle and replace it with a new (ordered) one. The “BCM” control unit is not changed in vehicles with the “Start-Stop” equipment.
Cruise control for additional mounting is functionally identical with the extra equipment mounted directly in the manufacture – Package 8T2 and it is available for all engines.
